Tim Williams
Coach Williams is our resident pitching guru on our staff. Tim was a member of the 1982-84 Crowder pitching staff, where he was an All-American in his second year. Following his second year he was drafted in the 9th round of the MLB draft by the New York Mets, but he did not sign. Later he was a member of Missouri Southern State University pitching staff. Throwing in two NAIA World Series and being named as an All-American in both seasons. The three time All-American later signed a contract with the Kansas City Royals minor league system in the summer of 1987. He pitched 3 years in their system before retirement. Tim took some time off from baseball before returning to the game in 1995 to begin coaching and teaching pitching. He has worked with such names as Mike Baker a former N.Y. Yankee and Yankee scout, Mike Trembley a former Baltimore Orioles Manager, Willie Randolph a former N.Y. Yankee and Mets Manager and Mike Butcher a former teammate and current Anaheim Angels Pitching Coach. Tim has been teaching and training pitchers for over 15 years and looks forward to many more.
